Recebi hoje a seguinte boa notícia:

Based on the amazing VMWare technology it can be used on almost any operating system environment. GISVM only requires you to previously install the Free VMWare Player or any other product that can run a VMWare image.”
É um iniciativa muito legal ao meu ver, pois tem as principais ferramentas livres para ser visualizar e desenvolver ferramentas GIS, como o MapServer, GeoServer, uDig, gvSIG, entre outros. Vale muito a pena conferir.
